The Time Crunch | Charlottesville Virginia Wedding Photographer | Faeth Photography
Your wedding day is not only a day full of emotion it's also a fast paced crazy train! From getting your hair and make-up done for you and your gal pals, to somehow squeezing in your dream portraits to remember your whirlwind of a day. So how do you reign it all in and create a less stressful, more organized day?
That's where your new friend-The Timeline...comes into play!
I know that everyone can't always afford a wedding planner for their wedding day, but you can afford a timeline. There are some really great free resources for those to including:
There are also some really great ones on The Knot, Wedding Wire and Southern Bride. These timelines help ensure your day runs smoothly! A great thing to consider is allowing an hour to an hour and a half for portraits, especially if you are not considering a "First Look". Your photographs may be one of the biggest investments you make on that day besides the venue, so take full advantage of your photographer's time and talent in capturing you + your bridal party. After all those portraits are going to last looooong after the celebration is over!
Another GREAT suggestion is booking a "Day After" session or "Bridals" you can maximize your time and have a more relaxed portrait session with just you + your new husband. It also gives your more options for portraits! I love love love these types of sessions because the bride + groom are much more relaxed, there's no crazy hectic time frame and they get one last hoorah in their fancy (expensive) attire!
So do yourself a HUGE favor and make a timeline to ease the flow of the day into a more organized | structured schedule! you'll thank me later ;)
