James Madison University Engagement Portraits for Maggie + Matt | Harrisonburg Wedding Photographer Sarah Houston Photography
I first spoke with Maggie on the phone for our bridal meeting and when I found out they were mutual beer lovers as well I just knew....these two are a perfect #SHPCouple. The icing on the cake was finding out her colors were pink and gold, ummm yes-favorite colors! We started their engagement session off at Matt's grandparents little ranch/farmhouse complete with cute little pet cows! They rocked out the pictures like pro's...I think they had been practicing! Then we headed off to James Madison University to finish their portraits & boy JMU didn't disappoint!
Maggie + Matt told me about memories they had on campus and it really helped make their portraits even more special. The light...it's like gorgeous light lives there!! I ended the shoot with the magical part....the Ring Shot. They were kind of apprehensive of where I was taking the picture...but after I showed them, they were impressed (or perhaps just acted that way to be nice-LOL).
