Oh these two....from the very first time I met them I KNEW they were "my couple". When they both started crying when we talked about how much they loved one another...y'all I couldn't even handle it-I started to cry too!! Kaitlan + Gary just have this "air" about them that you instantly want to be their best friend, so when they asked me to photograph their Rixey Manor wedding I was so over-the-moon excited!! (Not to mention they are fellow Harry Potter fans....bonus points!) 

For their Engagement Portraits we decided to brave the cold in Old Town Fredericksburg, VA. I knew it was going to be amazing when Kaitlan rented a gorgeous dress from Rent-The-Runway and they also asked to have them taken at Chatham Manor....oooooh hello pure elegance. The light, the couple, the location...it all made for pure magical romance.

Kaitlan & Gary I cannot wait to photograph your gorgeous Rixey Manor wedding next year!! Also I think we need to have a Harry Potter trivia night;)
