Spencer truly BLEW me away with her design concept for her KFV wedding & Willowbranch flowers truly bought the whole vision to life with the most GORGEOUS florals I’ve ever seen…like HELLO color!!! The concept was simply breathtaking and her details were so sweet-tying it all together in the most perfect way.

-Wedding Colors: Nude, Dusty Rose, Amber, Aubergine ("Sunset Colors")

-Vision (what vibe did you go for?): We wanted to emphasize the rustic colors of a fall sunset against our backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. To make it unique, we focused on making the florals ombre to create an "ombre dream."

-Proposal Story: Spencer's favorite holiday is Christmas - she starts listening to Christmas music on November 1 (sometimes before) and would put up a tree at the same time if not for Shawn making her wait until Thanksgiving. For Shawn, their first Christmas together in 2021 (Shawn was deployed previously) seemed like the perfect opportunity to propose. They had dinner with Spencer's family on Christmas Eve and would return the next day to Spencer's mom's house for Christmas brunch. Instead of exchanging big Christmas gifts, Spencer and Shawn always do stocking stuffers and their big gift to each other is a ski trip in February. They woke up on Christmas morning and started the day with coffee and leisurely reading their hand written cards and opening their stocking stuffers one by one. When they were done with their stockings, Shawn told Spencer he had one more small gift for her in the additional stocking hanging from the fireplace. He grabbed the stocking and handed it to Spencer. She reached inside and pulled out a little white box - she knew immediately what it was and said yes before Shawn could even mutter a word.
